No Problem..

I try not to use the expression “no problem” when dealing with a patron. No problem may confuse the patron into thinking there was a problem to begin with. Patrons deserve courtesy the majority of the time and need to be made welcome as opposed to being made to feel that they are a burden. This story is based on my experiences with customer X. They are the ones who like to dump and run. By that I mean that they come in unload and expect that by denigrating the server somehow validates their life. For the server “taking” repeated blows from Mr/Mrs Oh Woe is Me and having to put on a smile can be wearing. Is it it a problem…yes but I’ll let you decide for who it is a greater problem. Sometimes the customer is not always right……
